Founders Cirgon was founded by veteran technologists Darwin Throne, Gary Gorgen, and Dave Crosby. All of the founders have extensive computer experience and enjoy photography as a hobby. They were not satisfied with the photo viewing options that are currently available on the market - so Cirgon was founded to solve the problem. Darwin Throne, President and CEO, has an extensive engineering and business background. He has founded several startup companies since leaving Hewlett Packard. He is the co-author of Managing High Tech Startups and has lectured at Santa Clara University and the University of Nevada, Reno. He has had a life long interest in photography. Gary Gorgen, Chief Technology Officer, has extensive computer systems, image management, and image processing experience. He was one of the developers of the imaging processing system used by most countries for detecting flaws in the printing of currency. He has many years of UNIX and Linux system design and programming. Dave Crosby, Senior Engineer, has had extensive experience in the design of embedded systems. He has been a consulting engineer for over 20 years.
